Overview

Besji̽d Ëi̽hbör Hadfow was founded durring the early 15th century in summer of the year 1403, by Ma̋chī Nī̄̄kīy 'Roxy Eva' Vúó̄̄ Vúchīnḱ Mp̪ftór. The establishment of Besji̽d Ëi̽hbör Hadfow was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Besji̽d Ëi̽hbör Hadfow's construction back out of the project. Ma̋chī Nī̄̄kīy 'Roxy Eva' Vúó̄̄ Vúchīnḱ Mp̪ftór pushed on reguardles, and Besji̽d Ëi̽hbör Hadfow was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Besji̽d Ëi̽hbör Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Besji̽d Ëi̽hbör Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Besji̽d Ëi̽hbör Hadfow is is constructed arround a semi-circular spacious packed earth mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. Besji̽d Ëi̽hbör Hadfow's robustly designed timber walls are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

A look around Besji̽d Ëi̽hbör Hadfow seems to be home to a quite vibrant and boisterous community. Everywhere one looks they can see people going out their daily business with a smile and a spring in their step. Children play loudly in the streets, causing untold havoc as youth are want and allowed to do. On second glance, that chaos continues into adulthood. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a city, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.

The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.
